Photographer William Moon became an overnight internet celebrity last weekend after a deeply unflattering photo he snapped of Donald Trump bumbling across the the South Lawn of the White House went viral, promoting the hashtag #orangeface to trend on Twitter.

According to Vox, Moon is neither an official White House photographer nor an official member of the White House News Photographers Association, but rather “appears to be a Trump enthusiast who attends White House open press events.”
After the photo went viral, Trump tried claiming the it was photoshopped and then blamed the wind, writing: “More Fake News. This was photoshopped, obviously, but the wind was strong and the hair looks good? Anything to demean!”

Meanwhile, Moon then tried blaming it on the sun, telling BuzzFeed: “The sunset was reflected on the President’s face and hair.” He suggested the photo be titled “The General who returned to his kingdom after winning the war was walking in the sunset and winds.”
Soooo which is it? The wind? Or the sun?
